My name is Pastor David Wende. I have been pastor at Saint Peter's since 1976. In that time I have seen the congregation change significantly, but still remain steadfast in their faith.

I call upon each of you to pray for those in need, to support those suffering from the wrath of Katrina and Helen, for those serving our country, here and overseas.

April 8th is Easter Sunday             


Maundy Thursday is the Christian feast falling on the Thursday before Easter commorating the Last Supper of Jesus Christ with the Apostles.

Matins services are generally referred to the morning services that read from the Gospels telling the story from the Last Supper to the Crucifixion and burial of Jesus.

Tenebrae services contain readings from the Gospels which describe the time between the Last Supper and the Passion of Christ.
Frequently Tenebrae services include the last seven sayings of Jesus.

Easter is traditionally the most important annual feast of the Christian Year, celebrating Jesus' resurrection
